PTC-Thermistor

A composite PTC thermistor utilizes a thermally coupled combination, closely fitting and encapsulating a VDR varistor and a PTC thermistor. It is primarily used in switching power supplies and transformer primary circuits in power meters and other power supplies, providing comprehensive current and voltage protection.

Overcurrent protection PTC thermistors are protective components that automatically protect against abnormal temperatures and currents, and are commonly known as “resettable fuses” oder “10,000-time fuses.” They replace traditional fuses and are widely used for overcurrent and overheat protection in motors, Transformer, Schaltnetzteile, electronic circuits, and other applications.

PTC constant temperature heaters are heating devices designed to utilize the constant temperature heating characteristics of PTC thermistors. In low- and medium-power heating applications, PTC heaters offer advantages over traditional heating elements, such as constant temperature heating, no open flames, high heat conversion efficiency, minimal influence from power supply voltage, and a long lifespan. Their use in electric heating appliances is increasingly favored by R&D engineers.
