Resettable Thermal Overload Protector For Electric Motors
The overload protection switch is bimetallic strip overload protector to prevent the main power line from being overheated and damaged due to overload. Also called a circuit breaker. Overload protection prevents overheating and fire by stopping the flow of excessive current from an overloaded circuit, while surge protection prevents damage to devices from sudden, high-voltage spikes. What is a Platinum thermal resistance sensor?

The relationship between resistance and temperature is well known and repeatable over time. RTD is a passive device. It does not produce output by itself.
